Happy Birthday Adam
Today is Adam`s birthday. Many happy returns. I suspect that celebrations will be a bit belated as Adam is in the final stages of rehearsal for Wizard of Oz, which begins its review performances tomorrow. Lots of love and best wishes from all of us. xxxxxxx

Publicity for Wizard of Oz
Rather belatedly I can tell you that Adam has a small Q and A article in the July issue of Dance Europe magazine. It is a nice piece and the website gets honourable mention, thank you Adam. Opening night for Wizard of Oz is fast approaching and we will be there so we will give a report as soon as we can. Vigilant readers will have seen a photo of the cast in last Saturday`s Times listing magazine, The Knowledge. No mention of Adam in the article itself but good publicity for the show. I am also told that he has been talking to The Guardian so we will look out for that in the next week.

Carousel
There is a small piece in the London Theatre Guide about Carousel this week. Adam, of course, gets honourable mention. (see the link below). We look forward to hearing more about the production as he also enters the final stages of rehearsal for The Wizard of Oz. A busy summer for the Cooper family.

I am sure many of you will be planning to come to see Adam over the summer so why not get the best summer t-shirt from the website. We still have a selection of sizes available so take a look at the shop pages.

New choreography
We are now able to confirm that Adam will be choreographing a new production of Carousel, which starts a UK tour in Bromley in September. Not all the tour venues have published the information yet, so keep logging into the Current Events page for up to date information. Adam has a busy year ahead of him. 2008 looks like being a great one for the Cooper family.

News of both Adam and Sarah 31.5.08
Great news, Adam is to appear on stage again very soon! He will play the part of the Tin Man in a new production of The Wizard of Oz at the Royal Festival Hall, for six weeks from 23rd July. This is a rarely seen show and the run is limited so book early. The rest of the cast has yet to be announced but details will appear, as we get them, on the Current and Future Events page.

We also have news of Sarah, she will be appearing in Holby City on BBC One on Tuesday 3rd June. The programme goes out at 8.00pm

Prestigious new project
The latest news from Adam is that he has been asked to direct and choreograph the opening show at the new Curve Theatre in Leicester. This is the brand new complex which replaces the old Leicester Haymarket. Adam is delighted to have been asked to direct the first show by the theatre`s Artistic Director, Paul Kerryson. More details can be found on the Current Events page.

New Style Biography
The eagle eyed among you will have spotted that we have revamped Adam`s biography. This will, hopefully, make it easier for theatres etc when preparing programme details. We have split the dates and performances off into a list format, whilst keeping the narrative in one piece. We hope this will make life easier for everybody.

New Diary, News News!
Adam has given us a new diary, giving us his own reaction to *that* Daily Mail article. The diary is full of news but I don`t want to spoil it for you so enjoy!
New Diary

Adam`s response to Daily Mail article
I am sure many of you will have read the article in yesterday`s Daily Mail with some disbelief and concern. I have spoken to Adam today, he is away from his laptop at the moment and not able to respond immediately but he is most upset by the way he was portrayed. Those of us who know Adam well know that he was grossly misrepresented by the article and his views were very distorted. Sadly, as with so much modern journalism, he was misquoted and some of the comments ascribed to him were not his words at all. Adam wishes to reassure all his fans that he finds the whole tenor of the article offensive and a response has been made to the newspaper.

Happy Anniversary. A celebratory offer
Would you believe that today marks the 5th anniversary of adam-cooper.com? Time flies when you are having fun! To celebrate this, as well as Adam`s return to the stage, we are reducing the price of our remaining Limited Edition prints to £35 each. There are only small numbers of some of these prints left so take a look and perhaps give yourself an `anniversary` present. Best wishes Adam, Jane & Karen

Video Clips
We are very pleased to bring you a bit of an early Christmas present in the form of three video clips, which we have added to the gallery page. We have a selection showing Adam at various points in his career, beginning with his appearance at the Prix de Lausanne on his 18th birthday. We are aware that there is a slight blip on the soundtrack, which we are trying to fix but we wanted to get the clips up as soon as possible. You will need a broadband connection to be able to view the clips. We hope you enjoy them.

Adam Cooper T-shirts for sale
If you have looked at the shop pages lately you will see that we have a new addition to our merchandise range, a rather fetching t-shirt. Just in time for Christmas, we think it will be the thing to be seen wearing, once word gets around so add it to your gift list.

Another new diary 25.9.07
We were delighted and surprised to get a new diary from Adam yesterday. He is bouncing back from a rough few months and is raring to go again. Several people have asked for news of Sarah and Adam brings us up to date with what she is doing, so enjoy a read.

New Diary August 08
Jane and I met up with Adam last week and caught up on his news. You can read all about it in the new diary. In a very open and honest diary he tells us about the trials of the past few months and his hopes for the future. The cheering news is that he hopes to be performing again before too long, which I know will answer a lot of the questions we are so often asked. Thank you for your candour Adam. x

The diary has been sent to our translator and we hope to have the Japanese version online in the next few days.
